These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the WiseCop mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by WiseCop, a subsidiary of Invention Development Society LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is intended for use by law enforcement officers and law enforcement professionals. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with your agency's policies and applicable law.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at admin@wisecop.net if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account and automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's App Store subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems; (c) reverse engineer, copy, resell, or redistribute the Service; (d) upload content you do not have the right to share; or (e) use the Service to generate documents you know to be false or misleading.
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate legal research answers, report drafts, and case analysis. This content is provided for informational and drafting purposes only, may contain errors, and does not constitute legal advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before relying on it or submitting it. See our Disclaimer for details.
You retain ownership of the content you upload or create in the Service, including reports, case files, photos, and policy documents. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service to you. Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content we provide, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm us, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WiseCop, Invention Development Society LLC, and their operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Invention Development Society LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
